How to find us
Travelling from the M2 Belfast. Exit the motorway at dunsilly roundabout, signposted for Antrim,Ballymena and Coleraine. go around the roundabout and to take the 3rd exit ,leading onto the A26 dual carriageway direct to Ballymena.
As you approach the end of the dual carriageway, you will see a turnoff for Galgorm, on your left (Cromkill road). Exit here and follow the signposts for the town centre. Follow the signposts towards the town centre. (Follow sourhill road past Tullyglass Hotel , coming to the 2 mini roundabouts. Take the 1st exit, on both roundabouts onto the Galgorm road. Then take the 1st exit at the next roundabout leading into the Galgorm Castle estate grounds. )
From Coleraine (North Coast)
Take the Lodge Rd to Newbridge Rd, following the A26 into Ballymena. Taking the 2nd exit onto Ballymoney Rd when you come to the roundabout after coming off the dual carriageway.
At the next roundabout, head straight taking the 2nd exit off the roundabout. Carry on straight, approaching the traffic lights, here there will be three lanes, take the third lane to the right (closest to the maxol garage). Cut off right onto Galgorm Road. Follow the signposts for the town centre (straight route) where you will come to the main roundabout. Take the first exit into the Galgorm Castle Estate. (Signposted & Gated)
From Ballymena Train Station
The Galgorm Castle estate, is a 15 minute walk from the train station. Or a 3 minute car journey.
There is also a bus every hour on the hour, from the bus station located just outside the train station.
The Galgorm Castle Fairy Trail – Starting point is situated at the White cottage (shown above on the map).
As you enter the Castle grounds you will see signs for ‘White Cottage’. You can pay admissions here & collect any pre booked wristbands on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
Alternatively throughout the week, purchases and collection of pre booked wristbands should be collected at the Golf Club Reception through the week. (Monday- Sunday)
Note: You can also purchase additional activity booklets at the white cottage or at the Golf Club reception (situated straight on up from the Cottage). Walk in payments are accepted in these premises depending on the availability of allotted times.
