Here are some of the most frequently asked questions from both locals and tourists. If you don’t see an answer to your question below please feel free to get in touch.

What footwear should I bring with me?

We advise wellies or boots to walk the trail (depending on weather conditions, the grounds could be mucky in places).

Do I have to book online?

No, we have the online booking system in place to make the experience more efficient for our customers. As so they can collect their wristbands & booklets onsite quickly without the need to bring money. You can also just come along on site and pay at either the White Cottage (on weekends) or from The Golf Club reception ( on weekdays).

What age group is the Galgorm Fairy Trail for ?

The Galgorm Fairy Trail, is suitable for any age & enjoyed by all ages!

Are you government funded ?

No, we are self funded by our own buisness ( Brilliant Trails) . Admission sales all go back into adding new elements & features to the trail, so there is always something new/different upon return.

Is there parking on site?

Yes there is free parking on site and around the castle estates grounds.

I have a complaint /feedback regarding the trail, where do i go?

Are dogs allowed on site?

Yes. Your furry family members are allowed on site, as long as kept on a lead and remain well behaved. ( Please clean up any mess left behind)

Is the Fairy Trail, pushchair/wheelchair accessible ?

Unfortunately our trail, is not suitable of wheelchair/pushchair access. However we are currently in the process of designing & creating our new wheelchair/pushchair accessible route along the trail. We are sorry for any disappointment caused by this.

Is their picnic or food facilities on site?

Yes! There are picnic tables located at the white cottage (start of trail). There is also a range of shops, restaurants & coffee houses nearby – for more information go the ‘Nearby’ page located on the ‘Pages’ at the top of the menu.

Are you open just weekends?

No, we are open 7 days a week. With the last entrance to the trail at 5pm, we will extend these hours during the summer months..

Can i purchase products that are on the online shop , whilst visiting the Fairy Trail?

You can purchase products like our fairy doors & much more on site, by visiting our shop located just behind the Castle in the business courtyard. We are 9 The Courtyard, where you will see a sign on the front of our building.

How much is admission?

Admission is set at £3 per Child & £2 per Adult. (Under 1’s Free)

What is the offer with Eagles Restaurant & the Fairy Trail?

Eagles restaurant based on the Galgorm Castle Estate.

The highly rated restaurant have partnered up with us to offer our customers a fantastic lunch time offer.

One free childs meal, per paying adult.

T&C’s apply – Customers must present their Activity booklet or wristband to indicate they have participated on the trail, to be entitled to the offer.
